Here at Valley we believe Youth Ministry should center around five basic building blocks which serve as our foundation. These building blocks are worship, missions, evangelism, discipleship and ministry.

We believe in leading our students to study God’s Word. We desire to lead students to have a passion for God’s Word and apply His truths to their lives. We also plan specific events each year such as DiscipleNow, Church Camp, and Mission trips to challenge them to go deeper with God in commitment.

We have excellent adult Sunday school teachers which teach a curriculum grounded in the Word. On Wednesday we offer a rotation of small group Bible study, worship, and occasionally a fellowship night.

We also believe that youth need mature Christian adults to help mentor them through the teenage years. Youth seldom care how much you know until they know how much you care. We strive to reach every student and engage them with a real ministering relationship with a mature Christian adult.

Our priorities of ministering to a student centers around teaching God’s Word, providing mentorship form mature Christian adults, while keeping an active calendar of events designed according to the five building blocks mentioned above.
